Market Coverage and Compliance

Which marks open which market, what Besenled holds today, and what is still unconfirmed — stated before the quotation, not after the shipment.

A destination market asks for a specific mark. This page lists the marks we hold and the ones we do not, so a project can be checked against the market before a price is quoted.

What is not claimed

  • UL. We do not hold UL.
  • TISI. Not confirmed; do not treat it as available.
  • DLC. Not confirmed; do not treat it as a rebate-qualified listing.
  • ATEX and IECEx. Not listed as confirmed; hazardous-area certification is checked per project.

A mark is not a model

Holding a mark does not mean every fixture is covered by it. A certificate issued for one wattage, CCT, driver or housing does not automatically cover another. The covered model list is part of the check, and it is the list we send with the certificate pack.

What that means for a schedule

Local certification can add about one month to a project, on top of production of 7 to 30 days and transit of 7 to 12 days by air, 20 to 30 days by rail and 25 to 35 days by sea. Where a market needs a mark we do not hold, we say so before the order instead of after it.

How to check your market

Send the destination country, the model or the fixture type, and the mark the project requires. We answer with the scope we can prove for that model and the documents that go with it. Public metadata — certificate number, issuer, standard and validity — is shared first; the full certificate pack may require an NDA.

Use the document request page for the certificate pack, or the contact page with the market and the model when the scope is unclear.
