Sample Policy
Which samples are free, which are charged, how the sample cost is credited against the first order, who pays freight, and how long samples take.
Samples are for checking the fixture, the light and the documents — not for free project quantities. Regular small products can be free; custom or large samples are charged.
What is free
Regular small commercial products and accessories may be supplied free of charge. The final decision depends on the model, the requested quantity and the destination.
What is charged
Custom CCT, custom housing, logo, private label and large or heavy samples are charged. The sample price is confirmed before it is built.
Credit and freight
The product value of a sample may be credited against the first order. Freight is normally paid by the customer. If the sample is returned, the return freight and condition are agreed first.
Lead time
Stock samples can ship quickly. Custom CCT or aluminium housing usually takes 7–10 days; die-cast housing about 30 days; logo work about 7 days.
